But who is here to learn about me, most of us are here to learn about the Myth, the Legend, the Wolf, Fenris.
So here is the Myth as it is known to me:
Fenrir was the Eldest son of Loki and the Giantess Angrboda, and it was foretold that the Wolf and his family would cause Ragnarok so the gods locked up Fenrir in a cage while he was small but he grew very quickly and soon he was of preposterous size and they tried to trick Fenrir into being chained; "O Mighty Fenrir shall we test your strength by putting you in these fetters?"; Fenrir very boastfully accepted and broke even the strongest fetters like cobwebs. So Odin had the Dwarves make an impossibly strong binding, then the Dwarves came back to Odin with Gleipenir, the strongest fetter in the world made of the footstep of a cat, the roots of a mountain, a woman's beard, the breath of fishes, a bird's spittle, and the sinews of a bear, but when Odin came to Fenrir he sensed trickery so he requested a sign of good faith Tyr was the only one brave enough to stick his hand in Fenrir's mouth knowing what was going to happen. Fenrir struggled and struggled trying to break free from Gleipenir's Grasp so he bit off Tyr's hand. Satisfied they tied him to a Gioll, a rock deep under ground, and there is where he shall rest until Ragnarok where he shall break free of his fetters and reek havok on the Mortal world and Kill the King of Asgard, Odin, then die to Odin's son, Vidar.
